Specialized cylindrical ladder stitch machine designed for attaching elastic binding (tape binding) in underwear (leggings, briefs, long johns, etc.). The cylindrical bed and tensioning rollers allow for attaching tape in a closed loop. The CZ subclass is equipped with a pneumatic tape guide. It is standardly adapted for sewing tape folded in half and tucked from the underside (an optional version is also available for folding from both the underside and top of the binding-tape). The machine features automatic thread trimming and presser foot lifting controlled pneumatically, as well as needle positioning.
