A cylindrical coverstitch machine with lower and upper cover threads, designed for inserting elastic into a fabric edge “in a tunnel” (e.g., fitted sheets, briefs, and many other applications). Equipped with a folder for shaping the fabric and inserting the elastic. A knee-operated tilting guide allows precise stitching of the elastic at the beginning and end of the seam. The machine features a precise mechanical tensioner for the elastic with adjustable tension levels and a rear toothed puller to assist in feeding the sewn material. It can sew with 3 or 2 needles using both upper and lower cover threads or just lower threads.
