MERROW MB-4DFO

Description

The MB-4DFO is a unique design by the American company Merrow, created for sewing garments using ActiveSeam® technology with two- or three-thread stitching. ActiveSeam® is a new seam technology that serves as an alternative to flatlock (autolap), overlock, and coverstitch seams.

The innovative interlooping technique enables the creation of previously unknown, exceptionally attractive 3D seams. ActiveSeam® stitches are known for their high comfort, exceptional durability, and superior elasticity.

The MB-4DFO joins materials with a flat, edge-to-edge seam, making it ideal for the production of modern sportswear, lingerie, and similar products. The machine can be customized to sew various specialized types of fabrics and threads with specific properties. In such cases, fabric and thread samples must be provided for adaptation to specific product requirements. Depending on the version, the seam width ranges from 3/32″ to 5/32″.

The machine’s unique curved-needle sewing technology ensures the highest quality seams.

• 3D Seam: Creates spatial, three-dimensional stitches.
• Three-Thread Flat Seam: Features a highly attractive interlooping. Using threads in different colors results in highly aesthetic and unique seams.
• ActiveSeam Comfort: A two-thread flat seam designed for maximum comfort. The seam lies perfectly flat on both sides.
• ActiveSeam Slim: A two-thread seam that is an alternative to the two-thread flat overlock seam, designed for garment assembly.
