This new model 2-needle postbed lockstitch machine from Juki in the FULL DIGITAL version is designed for sewing heavy materials like leather and upholstery. It comes with automatic functions such as thread trimming, backtacking, presser foot lifting, and needle positioning.

The machine is equipped with several innovative features:

• Material thickness sensor in the presser foot (allows programming different thread tension, stitch length, or walking foot lift values when a thicker area is detected under the foot).
• Programmable stitch length.
• Walking foot lift height adjustment, controlled by a stepper motor and programmable via the control panel.
• Electronically programmable needle thread tension.
• Programmable buttons located next to the needle bar, allowing quick access to selected functions.
• Digital knob next to the needle bar, allowing rotation of the machine’s main shaft.
• Quiet presser foot lifting, controlled by stepper motors.
• Touch-operated color control panel, enabling the setting of most sewing parameters.

Stepper motor control for material feed allows the programming of decorative stitches. The machine is compatible with a special JUKI app that enables the copying and transferring of settings to other FULL DIGITAL series machines, or downloading basic work statistics (requires an NFC-enabled phone).

The new model includes several improvements that significantly enhance performance and versatility, including: a) A modern, energy-efficient reinforced servo motor, mounted directly on the machine’s main shaft. This setup ensures lower energy consumption, reduced vibration, quieter operation, and full motor power utilization, which is critical when sewing multi-layered heavy materials. b) Dual needle thread tension system, enabling tension values that are not achievable with single tensioners. c) Extended and raised arm, increasing the available working space for the operator. The distance from the machine body to the needle is 347 mm, the post height is 170 mm, and the space under the arm is 296 mm, allowing for the sewing of larger materials. d) An improved lubrication system ensures effective lubrication even at low sewing speeds. Oil is delivered to the hook and filtered before returning to the reservoir to remove contaminants, increasing lubrication efficiency and component durability. The oil level indicator and filler opening are conveniently located at the front of the machine, allowing oil to be added without tilting the head.
