Description
Electronic, lingerie buttonhole machine equipped with a servo motor built into the machine head, combining high productivity with excellent stitch quality. This is a 2-thread machine using lockstitch, with a sewing speed of up to 4200 stitches/min. Stepper motors control each of the machine’s mechanisms independently. The standard configuration comes with 31 pre-programmed buttonhole patterns, with the option to store up to 99 additional patterns. Buttonhole patterns and other information—pattern number, stitch shapes, etc.—are input via a clear, multifunctional operating panel with a graphic display. The panel also includes a USB port for connecting flash drives or memory card readers (allowing the import of additional patterns). The buttonhole machine is equipped with energy-efficient LED workspace lighting as standard.
The machine features an electronic programmable active thread tension control system. Needle thread tension during parallel stitching and bar tacking sections of the buttonhole can be controlled separately, using different sewing conditions stored in the machine’s memory (thread type, material type, sewing speed, etc.). The machine can adjust needle thread tension during parallel stitching or bar tacking to achieve the best buttonhole shape. This feature also helps prevent thread breakage. The needle thread tension activates at the start and end of sewing operations, preventing the thread from being pulled out of the needle and reducing fraying, which can occur at the beginning of stitching.
The machine allows for buttonholes to be stitched in a double cycle with a preliminary reinforcing stitch, producing the highest-quality buttonholes, especially on elastic materials like knitwear. Since the reinforcing thread is perfectly integrated, it never protrudes beyond the buttonhole. The reinforcing stitch can be done in up to 9 rounds. Double buttonhole stitching is also possible, where bar tacking is skipped, and parallel stitching is performed twice. Two different stitch widths can be used for the first and second rounds of stitching.
The machine includes a new bobbin thread trimming mechanism that leaves a shorter thread end on the fabric. Additionally, it creates a bar tack at the end of sewing to prevent unraveling. A slow start function, stitch count, and sewing speed at the beginning can be set to prevent the thread from slipping out of the needle (for the first 5 stitches, a stitch-by-stitch speed can be set).
The machine features a multi-drop knife function, eliminating the need to change the knife when changing buttonhole sizes. For frequent changes in low-volume production and during cycles of different-sized buttonholes, the number of knife drops is set automatically based on the buttonhole size. The knife mechanism, driven by a stepper motor, operates quietly and accurately during cutting/retracting. The knife pressure can be adjusted depending on the material being sewn. The knife handles buttonholes ranging from 41 to 70 mm in length (optionally). A mechanism for stitching up to 120 mm is available upon request, allowing the sewing of buttonholes in items like child car seat straps. It is possible to program buttonhole pattern sewing cycles, with up to 20 different programs, each capable of containing 15 different patterns.
