The latest high-performance 5-thread overlock machine model is equipped with automatic functions and an integrated energy-efficient motor mounted directly on the main shaft of the machine head (DIRECT DRIVE system), ensuring quiet, reliable operation and reduced energy consumption. The machine’s modern design provides better motor ventilation, resulting in faster, more efficient work and extended machine life. The JACK C5F overlock features LED workspace lighting with 3-step brightness adjustment and a user-friendly control panel for managing automatic functions such as:
- Presser foot lifting
- Chain trimming before starting and after finishing sewing
- Needle positioning
The machine’s automatic functions can operate in three modes:
- Manual
- Semi-automatic
- Automatic
Features of the C5F Series Machines:
- The presser foot lifting and thread trimming mechanisms are controlled by a servo motor. This solution ensures quieter and faster operation compared to electromagnet-controlled mechanisms and provides greater durability. It also allows for the setting of the presser foot lift height (13 levels adjustable via the panel).
- Voice notification function and quick return button to factory settings.
- Four photocells controlling automatic functions (previous model had three), enabling shorter thread tails after trimming on the fabric (10 mm at the start of sewing and 5 mm at the end).
- Lever for adjusting the height of the feed dogs. This adjustment allows easy and quick adaptation of the machine to different types of materials. It can be set in one of three positions:
- A (very light and light materials)
- M (light and medium materials)
- H (medium and heavy materials)
- A thickness sensor in the presser foot automatically reduces sewing speed when passing through thick seams and cross seams.
