Automatic 1-needle lockstitch machine with an electronic transport system, equipped with an energy-efficient servo motor mounted directly on the machine’s main shaft (Direct Drive), ensuring quiet and reliable operation with low energy consumption. The electronic programmable transport system (programming of feed dog movement), controlled by stepper motors, allows for setting the appropriate feed dog trajectory based on the type and thickness of the sewn materials. A correctly set transport ensures high-quality stitching, a feature unavailable in traditional transport mechanisms. The stepper motor controlling stitch length and bar tacking functions significantly reduces noise during operation and allows for very precise stitch length adjustment with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. Additionally, the machine offers the ability to program simple decorative stitches.
The A8 series machines are also equipped with a material thickness sensor under the presser foot. The machine can be programmed to automatically adjust settings when sewing over thick sections, ensuring consistently perfect stitching.
The machine’s extended arm of 30.5 cm provides ample working space, even when sewing large items.
Automatic functions:
- Thread trimming
- Presser foot lifting
- Bar tacking at the start and end of stitching
- Needle positioning
- Sewing according to programmed sections
The Jack A8 lockstitch machine features an improved dual thread trimming system, reducing the thread length after trimming to 3.0 mm. The A8 semi-dry head (oil is not supplied to the needle bar drive mechanism) minimizes the risk of oil staining materials during sewing. The closed lubrication system (no traditional oil pan) contains a small amount of oil in a closed tank, protecting it from contamination. This solution ensures lower oil consumption and better lubrication of the machine’s mechanisms. The machine is also available in the “H” subclass for sewing heavier materials.
Technical specifications:
- Sewing speed up to 5,000 stitches/min (the “H” version for heavier sewing up to 3,500 stitches/min)
- Stitch length up to 5 mm
- Presser foot lifting height up to 13 mm
- USB port for connecting external devices
