The latest Brother 1-needle lockstitch machine with triple feed, designed for sewing heavy materials such as leather, furniture upholstery, automotive upholstery, and more. The machine is powered by a modern, energy-efficient reinforced servo motor (high torque), mounted in the head directly on the main shaft of the machine. This design guarantees lower energy consumption, reduced vibrations, quieter operation, and ensures full motor power utilization, which is crucial when sewing multi-layered heavy materials.

The UF-8910 is equipped with electronic controls that allow for greater stitching consistency. Thread tension, foot movement and pressure, sewing speed, and other sewing parameters are electronically set and adjusted.

The machine features a unique stitch skipping detection system. This newly developed solution signals the detection of an error and precisely locates it by stitch number. The presser foot height sensor prevents errors during operation and optimizes sewing parameters. This function measures the presser foot height at the start of sewing, and if a specified range is exceeded, the machine stops and signals an error. During sewing, the machine detects changes in the height of the sewn material and automatically adjusts thread tension, presser foot pressure, and sewing speed.

The electric bobbin winder enables thread winding even when the machine is stopped. A constant winding speed stabilizes thread tension, leading to improved sewing quality. Material handling is made easier with the machine’s long arm (400 mm). LED lights are placed near the needle bar and presser foot, providing more effective illumination of the work area.

A clear and easy-to-use color LCD panel can be customized to individual needs. The user can choose between two screen modes – a simplified version or one with more options – and lock the screen to prevent changes or operator errors. Additionally, six function buttons (above the needle bar) can be customized for individual preferences.

Machines in the UF-8910 series do not require a compressed air connection. Automation is controlled by stepper motors.
