BROTHER T-8452D-S03(S05)

Double-Needle Lockstitch Machine with disengageable needles, equipped with feed dog and needle feed, sewing speed up to 3000 stitches per minute. Standard needle spacing is 6.4 mm, stitch length 5 mm, and foot lift of 7/13 mm. Suitable for medium-weight materials (-S03) or heavy materials (-S05).

It is equipped with an energy-saving servo motor mounted directly in the machine head (DirectDrive) providing automatic functions such as thread trimming, needle positioning, foot lift (PFL), programming of initial and final backtacking, thread wiper, and reverse stitch micro switch. Additionally, the control panel mounted on the machine head provides access to setting machine parameters, including programming the size of initial and final backtacks before thread trimming, programming the stitch count for initial and final backtacks, choosing between single or double backtack, programming seam length, and counting stitches between backtacks.

The machine comes standard with a modern lubrication system (without a typical oil pan). A small amount of oil circulates in a closed system, supplying the hook mechanism and needle bar. The oil that exits the hook area flows into an oil pan, where it is filtered and returned to the closed system. This solution minimizes the risk of oil leaks from the upper part of the machine (mainly the needle bar), which could stain the fabric, while maintaining high sewing speed similar to versions with standard lubrication. An optional version is available without lubrication for the needle bar mechanism.
